Pre History
A shy, nerdy high school student, Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider on a class field trip. The bite caused him to take upon the abilities of a spider modified to fit his human frame, including superhuman strength, agility, senses, and wall-climbing. Also a budding scientist, Parker created web-shooting devices and fitted them to his wrists.
To make money, Parker dressed in costume and participated in an amateur wrestling circuit. One night, a burglar robbed the wrestling manager, who had stiffed Peter on his prize money, and although in a position to do so, he failed to stop the crook. This would come back to haunt Peter, as the robber would later kill his father figure and uncle, Benjamin Parker. This event would be the catalyst in Peter becoming a superhero.
