Vein became an orphan when he was young due to the war that the Earth-Union was involved in. He had a sister who promised to protect him, but she did not come to save him during the war.
He then had an intense and severe life alone without any help, which made him believe that his sister abandoned him and ran away by herself. He thought 'the world that he believed' came to an end.
It is now his turn to abandon and end the world. The world filled with deception.
