Krang is the disembodied brain of an alien warlord from Dimension X. Using Shredder's vast army of Foot Soldiers to his advantage, Krang teamed up with the armored villain to plot world domination. Unable to do much in the way of combat in his current form, Krang uses a variety of robotic bodies to do battle with.

Fun Facts
Alien Inspiration
Though the uninformed would think otherwise, the character of Krang was partially inspired by the Utroms. The Utroms, also known as the "TCRI Aliens", were a tentacled alien species that were semi-brainlike in appearance, and first appeared in the third Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic, in March of 1985. Two years later, the same general idea was applied to the villain of Krang in the animated TMNT series; Krang was only vaguely similar in appearance to the Utroms, and was actually the disembodied brain of a Dimension X warlord.
