Garuda, an evil entity brought to life and exists due to the negativity of mankind. Everyone who has ever felt anger, hatred, envy, treachery, and disappointment. Each of them has contributed to the existence of Garuda. It is said that Garuda's form changes depending on the opponent. Against those who seek strength, it becomes even stronger, and against those who hold a grudge, the hatred becomes even stronger.

*During the Sengoku era, a warrior on the verge of death was warped by the hell-fire around him and his intense desire to continue fighting and became a demon who feeds off the souls of powerful warriors.
*The demon was originally sealed by an ancestor of the Hayate clan who used a self-sacrificing technique.
*Although sealed for a long time, he resonated with the "hadou" of an incredibly powerful warrior and was resurrected.
*Hayate sealed the resurrected Garuda inside of his own body, but eventually was consumed and became an amalgamation of the lingering grudges of powerful spirits.
*By absorbing the fierce energy given off by Kairi, Garuda was once again able to break the deal and was reborn as a demon who attracts powerful fighters with Gougi then devours their souls.
