RZA is the 'abbott' of the Wu-Tang Clan and the creative force that initially studied the Wu-Tang legend and applied it to hip-hop culture to create a unique and innovative approach to the Wu-Tang's infamous gritty sounding style. During the early 80s in Brooklyn, New York, RZA hooked up with his cousins, Ol' Dirty Bastard and GZA and formed a group called 'All In Together Now.' At that time Prince Rakeem released an EP entitled 'Ooh We Love You Rakeen' which established his distinctive style. It was then that the RZA and his cousin the Genuis got their friends together and formed the Wu-Tang Clan and subsequently released the ground-breaking CD entitled 'Enter the Wu-Tang - 36 chambers' which demonstrated the link between kung-fu and urban culture. One of the most important people in hip-hop today, RZA is also an expert in wielding two steel, double-edged swords in the authentic Wu-Tang Sword Style.
