Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe Endings
As the worlds separated, the Joker discovered he had retained his new powers. With them he soon controlled all of Gotham, proclaiming himself "Mayor Joker." Under his rule, the city devolved into chaos.

He now holds a tournament in which "contestants" are forced to fight to the death for his amusement. The winner will face off against the Joker himself.
Worlds Collide
An insanely homicidal super-villain, the Joker's white skin, green hair, and blood-red lips belie the chaotic nature underlying his cartoonish appearance. The self-styled Clown Prince of Crime has no superpowers beyond a capacity for incredible violence and a skill for creating deadly mayhem. He frequently concocts elaborate schemes to entrap his arch nemesis, Batman.

Fun Facts
Mother Superior Jumped The Gun
The Joker and Deathstroke both have Fatalities in which they shoot their opponent in the head with a pistol. Since Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe was destined to be rated "T for Teen", the ESRB would have none of this, despite that the same game features Jax shooting opponents to death with a machine gun, and The Joker and Deathstroke having non-fatal headshot moves at their disposal. Thus, the camera pans away from the opponent as the shot is fired in both characters' finishers in the North American versions of the game. The PAL versions, however, remain intact.
The Killing Joke
While the Joker himself could not return in the series M-Rated follow up to MK vs DC, his infamously censored Fatality (Bang, Bang) did. Referred to as "a trick he picked up from previous opponents", Shang Tsung can morph into a very Joker-like clown and recreate the comedic execution verbatim, complete with win pose.
