Third World Fighting Tournament
The eldest daughter of an old, established, renowned Kyoto family Dojo, Aoi has had Aikido and Judo drummed into her since childhood. Since her father and Akira’s father were old friends, Aoi and Akira often trained together as children. Aoi’s father learned of the World Tournament through Akira. Once Aoi heard about the tournament and Akira’s participation, she became very interested in entering. In order to gauge her own skills and ability, Aoi's challenge is about to start.

Fourth World Fighting Tournament
Aoi has realized what a small world she was in after losing at the previous Tournament. Returning home, she tried hard not only to learn Aikido and Kobujutsu, but to also improve her knowledge of other martial arts. She is anxious to enter the Fourth World Fighting Tournament so that she can demonstrate her enhanced repetoire of moves.

Fifth World Fighting Tournament
Aoi left the fourth tournament with only frustration and anger. She had to endure a slew of pick-up lines before her match, and the match itself was a complete loss. Her opponent’s nimble footwork and powerful kicks were more than impressive, but his tendency to come on to any woman he saw only angered Aoi. Even after the tournament ended, Aoi thought about her opponent often. There had never been any fighters like that in the previous tournaments, and he had made a strong impression on her. Aoi found herself training harder because she wanted to show him a thing or two. Now that the invitation to the Fifth World Fighting Tournament has arrived, Aoi can barely contain her desire to enter the tournament and see him again.
