Pre History
A young lady with an unknown past, Android 18 is the twin sister of Android 17. She, like her brother, was augmented with cybernetics by Dr. Gero. Also like her brother, she was made to kill Goku, but wished to follow through on the task out of boredom, not command. Eventually she is absorbed by Cell to make him into Perfect Cell, but is knocked out of his body by Gohan.
Android 18 would later go on to marry Goku's best friend Krillin, and have a child with him. During the 25th Tenkaichi Budokai, Android 18 competes, and agrees to throw the match so Mr. Satan can win, if he pays her.
Android 18 is forced to battle her brother after he merges with a duplicate version of himself, losing control of his personality. She assists Goku in destroying 17.

During her fights, something had awakened in Android 18. It was that urge for destruction and mayhem. It was her old programming that Dr. Gero had integrated into her mind, revived by her aggressive feelings. However, thoughts of her new friends, especially of Krillin, calmed her mind as she left the battlefield.

You are Goddess of Destruction! You launch one attack after the other without stopping! An android designed by the mad DR. GERO, you live only to kill and destroy. Using your light weight to your advantage, you know how to efficiently make numerous attacks one after the other. At close range, you disarm your opponent with a number of kicking techniques. If a gap appears between you, however, just aim at your opponent's legs with your ENERGY JET to knock them over. Use your speed and your opponent will be beaten before he knows it.
