An adorably creepy cave landing overlooking an adorably creepy castle above a laked canyon. A caravan drawn by pigs has pulled up to view the fight, while John Talbain endlessly howls in front of the full moon.

A main hall in Demitri's signature dwelling. The vampire lord himself teleports and slides about while his ladies and minions carry on. Outside of Midnight Bliss'd Jedah and Donovan's Iron Maiden this stage is almost devoid of cameos.

Seven Seas
This undersea cave is home to many bats, as well as Captain Kidd's accumulated rich stuff. A skeleton tirelessly guards the treasure, but his head rolls off at the end of a round.

Norway
Erick's bold viking companions cheer for his victory, although the one with the hammer looks a little out of it. Don't get seasick as the ship undulates up and down.

|
|
France
The setting sun here surely represents the end of one era of French royalty, as Janne leads her people to victory over the ruling class. At the end of a round, the cannon will misfire, revealing a French flag.

U.S.A. (Urban)
A seedy street at nighttime, graffiti plasters the walls and abandoned vehicle. Headlights of passing cars can be seen racing by in the foreground while two fun-loving fellows step to the beat in the back.

Papua New Guinea
Birds of paradise criss-cross the starry sky over this tribal village. A tremor may cause the dancer's grass skirts to fall down.

U.S.A. (Construction)
Swarthy construction workers cheer the fight rather than do their job. One particularly rowdy worker paces back and forth across the stage.

|
|
Japan (Field)
A judo training field flanked by cherry blossom trees in full bloom. A majestic castle looms in the background.
|
|
|
Thailand
An ornate buddhist temple; those incorrigible monks shuffle around the stage. Should a fighter be slammed to the ground, the cat will frighten and try to climb one of the pillars, only to fall and cry out.

|
|
Japan (Temple)
A temple scene with a number of monks. On major impact, a monkey will fall from the sky, surprised, and walk away sheepishly. At the end of the round, a goldfish banner unfurls over the gate.

|
|
Japan (Forest)
The two ninjas crouching center-stage before the match leap off and cavort about the open field during the battle. If Hanzou is defeated, the ninjas will return and shed tears (they cheer if he wins).

|
|
Korea
Tourists cheer the combatants from the safety of a bus. The ladies to the right will brandish a chicken and threaten it with scissors at the end of a round.
|
|
|
Mongolia
A majestic palace courtyard ruled over by a queen, flanked by guards. One dwarfish guard strafes back and forth to make certain the fighters keep in line.
|
|
|
Russia
Peasants brave the cold to show their support for the Mad Monk. The snowman's head will bounce off each time a serious impact occurs.
|
|
|
Japan (Rural)
Mount Fuji looms on the horizon while ninja monkeys train and pick fleas off each other in the foreground.
|
|
|
Space
The final battle takes place in a satellite far above the Earth. Four large crystals levitate throughout the room, they shatter at the end of the round or if struck by a flying body.
|
|
|
|
|
Death Match - Fire Battle
The ropes of the ring are engulfed in flame. Touching the fire on either end will cause damage, but the upper half of the "walls" are safe to triangle jump from.
|
|
|
Death Match - Minefield Battle
Landmines are placed near either end of the arena, exploding on contact for minor damage. They will reappear a few moments after going off.
|
|
|
Death Match - High Energy Battle
A ring with bolts of electricity in place of ropes, you'll be stunned and take damage if touching the barrier on either end. Like the fire battle, the upper half of the wall is safe to rebound off of, for characters so equipped.

|
|
Death Match - Hair Splitting Battle
There are no hazards or special conditions to speak of in this ring, but the loser of the match will display a shaved head in addition to the normal cuts and bruises.

A rustic clocktower with animated gears and scurrying rats.
|
|

Germany
The stage is a moving elevator in a military complex. It travels vertically past tanks, an airplane in disrepair, an empty hangar, a hangar filled with crates, and what appears to be a series of holding cells.

Mongolia
A Mongol camp at evening. Horsemen look on as red clouds float past in the distance.
|
|
|
U.S.A.
Suspended in mid-air over what appears to be New York, the battle takes place in a steel-cage wrestling ring. A blimp displaying the words "FIGHT FIGHT" flies through the background.

Korea
A monastery with young monks practicing stickfighting and elder monks cheering the fight.
|
|
|
Bonus Stage 2
15 pots will drop from the sky and then roll left, right, or remain stationary. Your goal is to break them all before any roll offscreen.

The goal is to carve a large boulder into a statue by hitting it repeatedly in the allotted time.

This secret money pit is where the millionaire Vercci stores his fortune. Lying at the bottom of a 50 meter pit on a desert island surrounded by deadly rip-tides, this treasure island is indeed impregnable.

Eurydice Shrine
This temple was designed and constructed by the god of Forge, Hephaestus, one of twelve Olympian Gods. It recently lay in ruin, but due to the power of Sophitia's faith it has been restored to its former glory.

The Old Temple
At the southern tip of the Korean Peninsula, a historic temple rests at the foot of Mount Chii. It was originally constructed in the 4th century but has been rebuilt several times.

Ostrheinsburg Castle
The castle of the Knight Stefan is said to contain weapons from all over the world. His clams of invincibility are being hard pressed as he vainly defends against a siege by Marquis Andre and his powerful cannons.

Savannah
Savannah, the New World. A mysterious forest of megaliths stands in the center of a wide crater.

The Pirate's Castle
The headquarters, Noto castle, belongs to Noto-Murakami and the Setonai pirates (Mouri sea force).
It is a pirate fortress that occupies the entire island. It has naval ports and serves as a sea barrier.

The gorge, "San Kyo" is located in the middle reaches of the Yangtze, one of the greatest rivers in China.

The Desert
The desert area spreads throughout the middle of Asia. It is the most dangerous place for travelers who choose to travel across the continent.
