“Bullet” is not his real name, just like the titles used by actors and other boxers. No one knows his real name, but the reason he chose “Bullet” as his title is probably because he wishes to approach and hit his enemies at high speed, just like a bullet.
He grew up in the dark streets of the Brooklyn district of New York, where he became an assistant in a boxing gym. There he learned many of the pro boxers' techniques. He became a mysterious fellow who trusted no one.
No one, that is, until he met Vanessa. She was a simple, lovely girl who warmed his heart and helped take his mind off the the brutal, violent world he was used to. They were happy together until one day, when she fainted. The hospital revealed that she had a strange illness which would require a large sum of money to cure. Bullet entered the Super Fighter tournament because the only way to bring back the cheerful Vanessa would be to defeat the evil kingpin and win the bounty.
Though Bullet is extremely fast, his strength is comparably weak. His speed advantage usually works well enough to help him defeat his enemies, however.

The background of Frank remains a mystery, but what is known without a doubt is that he loved his wife very much. After she died Frank became a nomad, suppressing his sadness through fighting. Every year on the day of his wife's death, he still brings the flowers she loved most to her grave.
In the past, Frank often overlooked the abilities of his opponents, making him lose a lot of battles. Despite his losses, Frank fought bravely each time. Therefore, everyone who fought with him respected his tough guy attitude, and appreciated his morale.
Frank's special attacks, learned from his opponents, are all lethal. Whenever you see Frank fighting in the street, don't forget to bet your money on his victory; you won't be let down! Frank is both a lover and a fighter - a dangerous mix.

"The Avenger,” whose true identity is a mystery, has brought fear to the United Nations. He yearns to contaminate the whole world, and thinks that having power is the only reason for living; that only evil can conquer everything. Radical thoughts have driven him so far that he calls himself the reincarnation of Satan, and that he must extract his revenge for being exiled to hell. To bring about this revenge, he plans to kill all of God's people.
It is rumoured that Indian Joe was once an apprentice of Lan's father, who abandoned his discipline and killed his master. He truly is a merciless monster.

Influenced by his father, who was a soldier in the military, Jaan lives a simple and subtle life. His home is free of dust. Of course, he cares about his personal appearance; his hairstyle is a good example. He hates dirty things - especially cockroaches.

Born in the mountain region of the Shantung Peninsula, it is rumoured that Kim Tai Chi's name came from his mother's dream: the sacred Tai Chi descending on Earth.
Kim Tai Chi led a poor and simple life. When he was young, he had to do all of the work by himself, such as gathering firewood, collecting herbal medicine and hunting. These chores kept him in good physical condition. Though he was poor, Kim was content with his life.
However, he was ignorant and was impressed with heroic acts. Ignoring the advice of his family, he joined the evil Mu Chi group and learned his fighting skills there. Owing to his talents, Kim was appointed the number one assassin of the organization. Obsessed with profit and material possessions, he didn't think twice about any of the illegal and immoral things he was doing.
That is until one day, when he lost a fight with the One Eyed Dragon gang during a mission, and the Mu Chi organization planned to terminate him for the failure. When he learned of their plans, Kim joined forces with the One Eyed Dragon gang, helping them to eliminate the Mu Chi.
Since those days, Kim has started down the long road of confession. The chain surrounding his body and the sword on his back are both symbols of his determination to destroy all evils on earth.
Now Kim is retired, living with his wife and daughter deep within the mountain ranges. Perhaps this simple way of life is the one which he feels most comfortable with.

Since Lan's family was well known for their achievements in the martial arts, he received plenty of training from his father when he was young. As a result he has learned a large variety of different fighting skills, both with and without the use of weapons. Lan has won many medals and trophies, and is nicknamed the “martial arts genius.”
One day, Lan's father left home in a great hurry after receiving a message. The only note he left to Lan was: “While Papa is away, you must look after the family.” After that, Lan never heard from his father again.
On Lan's twentieth birthday, a friend of his father told him, “Seven years ago, your father was killed in a duel with an Indian man. Having been an apprentice of your father, this man is an expert fighter. Because of his radical thoughts, he has abandoned his discipline and become a murderous monster.” Lan was shocked when he heard this, so he entered the Super Fighter tournament to seek revenge for his father's death.
Lan is free and handsome, even when performing his special attacks. Though he is an expert in the Chinese martial arts, Lan continues to train himself fiercely in order to further improve upon his skill.

Onimaru is a descendant of the Iga ninja group, and had his face disfigured in a mission. For twenty years, he has been hunting for an international drug broker whose true identity remains a mystery. The only things known about this wicked man are that he has radical thoughts, is planning to dominate the world with drugs, and that he is a good fighter. Getting rid of this drug broker is the main reason that Onimaru entered the Super Fighter tournament.
Since Onimaru is a ninja, he is an expert in performing strange, varied moves. These moves are all fatal, and his terrible outlook fills his opponents with fear, even before fighting with him.
However, Onimaru also has a warm heart, and he loves children. He has always wished to take care of the abandoned children who wander the streets. Hopefully, after arresting the drug broker, he can open an orphanage and live with these lovely children forever.

A champion in several Chinese martial arts contests, Phoenix and Lan were rivals. They had challenged each other several times, but the result was always a draw. Phoenix and Lan are good friends, but they are not lovers, for she thinks that Lan is still too young, and not yet mature enough for a serious relationship.
Like every girl in her early twenties, her mind was filled with illusions. That is until she met Frank, whom she considers to be a real man.
The reason Phoenix entered the Super Fighter contest was probably because she could not find any other opponents in China that were strong enough to provide her with a challenge.
Being an offspring of the Miu bloodline, Phoenix is both tender and wild. Her special attacks are both fancy and fatal.
Born with a natural beauty, the discussion of Phoenix is a popular topic in news and the media, making her the target of talent scouts. We'll probably see the debut of another star very soon.

Being a descendent of a Mongolian tribe, Sarkov was born into a poor family. He lost his parents when he was very young, making his only relative his elder brother. He was truly a child detatched from the outside world.
As a child, Sarkov was thin and weak, and was often humiliated. That is, until his brother was slain by ruffians while protecting him! Sarkov swore before his brother's tombstone that he would someday become the strongest man in the world. From that day forward, he trained his body hard by practicing wrestling skills every day. Through this extensive training, he has built up the physical power we can now see.
Anyone who is grabbed by Sarkov will be in big trouble, for he is now powerful enough to throw a bear to its death using his wrestling skills. The outfit Sarkov wears is the traditional outfit for Mongolian wrestlers. Obtaining a victory while wearing this outfit is his wish.
