Vega's new position as black marketeer forces him to keep a low profile, but he still enters and usually wins the Street Fighter tournaments.

The real bets are made on how long Vega's opponents will survive before his claws mercilessly carve up another victory.

Even though Zangief defeats Bison, he is tormented by the terrible crimes he committed in Bison's name. Zangief leaves Shadaloo City and is never heard from again.
