By defeating the power mad Bison and overcoming nearly impossible odds, Balrog proves to himself and the rest of the world that he is still a true champion. With Bison gone, he is able to once again regain his world boxing title.

Once Bison was defeated, Balrog returned to the United States and began his boxing training once again. Rising through the ranks, Balrog finally got his title shot and soon became the only man to be World Champion in both the Heavy-Weight and Open-Weight divisions. Known for his extraordinary punching power and his quick knockouts, Balrog soon found that challengers were hard to find. So, he has recently begun traveling again as Chun Li Zang's cameraman. When asked why, Balrog joked, "I just want to see her in that little Chinese dress one more time."

For years Blade has infiltrated Bison's corrupt organization, reporting in secret to his brother Guile. Now with Bison destroyed, Blade at last is free of his deep cover assignment and is able to resume his professional wrestling career as Gunloc.

As Bison's fortress crumbled, Allied Nations soldiers said they could hear the cries of a wild beast. But despite the frantic search through the rubble by Colonel Guile, Blanka's body was never found. However, there are persistent rumors that Blanka lives and Professor Dhalsim is trying to reverse the DNA mutagens that created him. No one knows for sure if it is true or if Dhalsim will be successful, but Guile will only say "Carlos will return."

Cammy proves her leadership and military skills by defeating Bison and his troops where so many other had failed. Cammy is soon promoted to general and becomes the first female leader in the A.N. army.

A perfect complement to Colonel Guile's aggressive style during the crisis in Shadaloo, Cammy returned to her position in the British Secret Service after General Bison's defeat. However, the British Government has been known to lend Cammy to the Allied Nation Forces for special assignments. Most recently, she was once again at Colonel Guile's side as he planned for a strike in the Middle East.

ChunLi has gained vengeance and justice for the murder of her beloved father at the hands of the mad Bison. With her debt to her father repaid and her family honor intact, ChunLi returns to the United States and becomes a medical resident in a Chicago Emergency Room.

After the collapse of Bison's empire, Edmond Honda was able to clear his name and re-enter the sacred Sumo ring. Using his huge size, power and slapping ability, Honda soon regained the title of Grand Champion. Now, the only thing that gives this record breaking champion a challenge is his practice bouts with Zangief. Currently ahead by only a single match, Honda's record with Zangief is 86 wins, 85 losses, 27 ties and 5 destroyed Sumo dojos.

Guile leads the A.N. army to victory against the mad Bison and his maniacal plans to rule the world. Despite offers of promotions and honors of the highest order, Guile resigns his post in the A.N. army and begins a world-wide quest to find his horribly mutated and still missing friend Blanka.

Colonel Guile won the admiration of the world as Global News Television broadcasts news of the Allied Nation Forces crushing victory over General Bison. Recognizing his command abilities, Guile was sent on similar missions to Europe, the Middle East and other international hotspots. When asked by GNT correspondent Chun Li Zang about the possibility of dealing with future terrorists like Bison, Guile replied "I don't care who they are. If they want to fight me, I'll kick their butts!"

As the pieces of Bison's maniacal plans fall apart, Ken is able to hustle his way into a number of secret deals that assure him of a life of luxury. Despite his new found wealth, Ken continues to heed the teachings of his respected Master Sheng Long.

Putting his scrounging ability to good use, Ken helped restore Shadaloo City after the defeat of Bison and his forces. And wherever there is trouble, you can be sure that they will be in the middle of it.

Soon they were packed and on the road with Ken looking to make some quick money and Ryu just trying to make sure that Ken doesn't get them into any more trouble than they can handle.

Sagat realized that Bison's mad plans for power would have put his entire black market operation in jeopardy, causing Sagat to lose his position as Tong leader. By destroying Bison, the people of Shadaloo look to Sagat as a great hero, and make him the leader of the city. This gives Sagat the power over both the legal and illegal operations of Shadaloo, making him the most respected and feared leader of modern times.

Sagat and Vega went underground while the Allied Nation Forces restored order after the collapse of Bison's Empire. But, when the Allied Nation Forces eventually pulled out Shadaloo City, Sagat regained his place at the top of the Shadaloo underworld. Today, people still fear him as he deals weapons from somewhere in the city. However, Sagat has no interest in controlling the country. "Making money is the only game I'm interested in," says Sagat, "and I always play to win."

Captain Sawada is promoted to the post of commander by the grateful Allied Nations. Sawada's strong leadership skills and flawless integrity make him the world's most beloved leader of all time.

Leading the Allied National Forces in their assault on General Bison's stronghold, Captain Sawada demonstrated his unique tactical abilities. A strong leader, Sawada has become a symbol for the soldiers in Japan's Self-Defense Force. Although he has only served with Guile a few times, Sawada earned the admiration of the Allied Forces leader. When asked in a recent GNT interview who was the toughest soldier he had served with, Colonel Guile quickly replied, "No contest. Sawada of Japan."

With Bison's army vanquished and Sagat defeated, Vega assumes control over all of the black market operations in Shadaloo. Vega's new position as black marketeer forces him to keep a low profile, but he still enters and usually wins the Street Fighter tournaments.

After linking up with Sagat during the confusion that followed the destruction of Bison's fortress, Vega once again returned to the ring. There, with Carmen playing in the background, Vega slices up anyone who dare challenge him. Of course, very few people are foolish enough to bet on his challengers. The real bets are made on how long Vega's opponents will survive before his claws mercilessly carve up another victory.

Zangief Chapter
Zangief realizes almost too late that Bison is leading him to an early death. Even though Zangief defeats Bison, he is tormented by the terrible crimes he committed in Bison's name. Zangief leaves Shadaloo City and is never heard from again.

After realizing that Bison had lied to him, Zangief left Shadaloo and returned to his home in Moscow. There he returned to the wrestling ring and quickly found that no one was a match for him. Undefeated and without much of a challenge, Zangief now spends a little of his time as part of Colonel Guile's security force and rest training for his visits to Honda's dojo in Japan.
