His slender frame provides an excellent medium which enhances his electrostatics, and combining that with his chiseled legs (no doubt from years of shoot boxing experience), his kicks hit like bolts of lightning. However for this tournament, his friend and rival, Kyo Kusanagi, all but forced him into this position where he has to watch over both Shun’ei and Meitenkun.

He fights with an extending staff that has an impressive reach to keep his opponents at bay. Billy is known also as the ‘walking deadly weapon’ due to his hot-blooded personality.

Joint Crusher Blue Mary Ryan Chapter She currently works as a freelance special agent. Born from a long line of famous fighters, Blue Mary excels in all fighting styles, and more particularly, in Sambo Commando, a martial art that uses striking and grappling techniques. Blue Mary has a strong bond with Terry Bogard.

Swift Shamaness Chizuru Kagura Chapter Chizuru Kagura is a descendant of the Yata clan, one of three powerful clans entrusted with the Sacred Treasures capable of sealing away “Gaia’s Will”, otherwise known as Orochi. Her fighting style resembles traditional Japanese dancing, while her access to the Kagura Style of Ancient Martial Arts allows her to seal away her opponent’s abilities. She convinces heirs of the other two clans, Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami, to once again join forces and enter the latest KOF in the hopes of revealing the powers behind the appearance of the being known as Verse and the weakening of the seal on Orochi.

Tempo Mixer Chris Chapter Chris is the vocalist of the rock group C.Y.S. Like his bandmates Shermie and Yashiro, Chris is also a member of the Four Heavenly Kings of Orochi. Though he has no experience in martial arts, his attacks utilize his small frame and speed to overwhelm his opponents. At first glance, Chris seems like a well-mannered young boy, however his angelic smile hides his devilish demeanor.

Tough & Cool Clark Steel Clark Still Chapter Clark is a mercenary who has fought alongside Ralf on numerous battlefields. His rank is lieutenant, and in addition to Heidern-style assassination moves and martial arts, he specializes in wrestling throws and locks. Always calm, he has earned immense trust from Ralf.

Master Carpenter of the Sea Darli Dagger Chapter Darli Dagger is a shipwright who runs a workshop on an island. In addition to her own monstrous strength, she fights using the technical skills she inherited from being a carpenter and the self-defense wisdom she learned from pirates. She sets out together with Haohmaru in helping Nakoruru with her mission. More exciting than seeing the latest developments in ship building, Darli readies her blade for some intense battles that await!

Hidden Wisdom Dolores Chapter A revered hermit in the Hinterlands of Africa, Dolores has allied herself with Heidern. Her psychic medium capabilities allow her to contact the spirits of the earth, and she uses holy soil to combat her foes. Apparently one of the many resurrected through Verse, Dolores may hold the key to its secret, however her connection to it remains a mystery. Dolores Teacher Kukri Student Dolores adopted and trained Kukri, but he accidentally killed her when he lost control of his powers.

Silent Assassin Duo Lon Chapter Duo Lon is a handsome young man with long, flowing hair (worn in a queue-style braid) and a somewhat somber air about him. He seeks out his father, Ron, leader of—and eventual traitor to—the Hizoku clan of assassins. During his quest he meets Ash, Elisabeth, and other fighters.

Will of Light Elisabeth Blanctorche Chapter A childhood friend of Ash, Elisabeth is part of the Blanctorche bloodline, a family tasked with stopping Those from the Past. She joins this KOF to honor her debt to Kukri. Elisabeth is far more strict with herself than others, and maintains a righteous and principled mindset that refuses to make concessions. Controlling light, her fights tend to dazzle any onlookers lucky to catch a glimpse of her in action.

Taciturn Fist of Vengeance Gato Chapter This cold and calculated master-class fighter always strays away from the pack. He set out for vengeance after his mother died at the hands of his father. Though he wishes to go his own way, B. JENET was able to convince him to join the team as she has some info on his father’s whereabouts.

Charismatic Evil Geese Howard Chapter Geese Howard is the overseer of the Howard Connection and a supreme power behind the scenes in South Town. He is well versed in ancient Japanese martial arts and specializes in countering opponents’ attacks with devastating throws. He exudes an overwhelming presence as a charismatic figure of evil.

Terrifying Tempest Goenitz Chapter As one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Orochi, the almighty Goenitz devotes his entire being to serving his dark lord. His dignified wardrobe (that of a pastor) and polite mannerisms give off a gentle air, but mask another side of him—that of a ruthless monster quite happy to inflict pain and suffering on those who dare stand in his way.

Wandering Fencer Haohmaru Chapter Haohmaru is a traveling swordsman determined to master the way of the sword. He is a bold and free-spirited fighter who hates cowardice, and travels from country to country, sake in hand, in search of a match with anyone who can put up a real fight. In order to help his friend Nakoruru, and to fight with new and formidable opponents, he travels far beyond time and space and lands on the KOF stage.

He fights his enemies using a combination of martial arts and self-taught assassination techniques. Naturally, he maintains a cold and strict demeanor, much like any hardened soldier. He joins forces with Isla and Dolores this KOF to find out the mystery behind the strange being known as Verse.

Unshackled Instinct Iori Yagami Chapter The Yagami clan is one of three ancient clans entrusted with a Sacred Treasure. As a descendent of this clan, Iori has access to abilities that allow him to tear apart his foes, and powerful amethyst flames granted by his knowledge of the Yagami Style of Ancient Martial Arts. His ancestors signed a blood-pact with Orochi 660 years ago, sparking a feud with the Kusanagi clan. Despite this, he decides to up-hold his duties as a member of the original sacred clans and joins KOF.

Dreaming Brilliance Isla Chapter Isla is an extremely energetic graphic artist based in South America. Though she lives a life of solitude, she has developed a deep and trusting relationship with her phantom arms, Amanda. However, when push comes to shove, Isla is no joke as she uses Amanda and her spray cans to mix up whoever gets in her way. She has a bright and cheery personality, but for some reason, she seems to really have it out for Shun'ei.

Young Muay Thai Champ Joe Higashi Chapter Traveling alone to Thailand, Joe rose up the ranks to become a champion in Muay Thai Boxing. Though he has a playful and dynamic personality, Joe becomes far more serious when it comes down to training. He met Terry and Andy in South Town, and has remained good friends ever since.

Better Than K K' Chapter K' is a cybernetically modified human with genes transplanted from Kyo Kusanagi by the secret organization NESTS. He wields the ability to manipulate fire, a power he controls with his right hand glove. Though his cool appearance shows a man cold and withdrawn, K' actually cares for his friends deep down. He joins this KOF together with Maxima and Whip in order to spy on the man who kidnapped Kula.

Taekwondo of Justice Kim Kaphwan Chapter Kim is a very serious person with a strong and inherent sense of justice. As an expert in Taekwondo, he can stop any opponent attempt with his unpunishable kicking techniques. His excessive diligence is a thorn in the side of Luong and the man she loves: Kim’s free-spirited master, Gang-Il.

The Beautiful Kick's Illusion King Chapter King's fighting style is her own form of Muay Thai. She's the owner of the bar Illusion, and her tall stature allows for her legs to really pack a punch. She joins team ART OF FIGHTING thanks to Ryo's invitation.

Dino King Burning for Revenge King of Dinosaurs Chapter King of Dinosaurs is a mysterious heel wrestler who wears a tyrannosaurus mask. His true identity is unknown. He is capable of taking down seasoned martial artists with his powerful wrestling moves. He joins Ramón together in the newly-formed G.A.W. and aims to become the fiercest dinosaur in the galaxy.

Exceptional Esper Krohnen McDougall Chapter A mysterious young man who teamed up with Ángel this KOF. His goggles and mantle compose his trademark design, and he fights foes with his transforming arm. It seems he has some connection to the secret syndicate known as NESTS, however the details are unknown.

Sharp-Tongued Sandman Kukri Chapter Always scheming between the cracks of society, Kukuri can bury anyone who challenges him with his sand-based techniques. His true visage is unknown as his hood constantly blocks his face. He wrangles both Ash and Elisabeth into joining him this KOF in order to fulfil his plan. Dolores Teacher Kukri Student Dolores adopted and trained Kukri, but he accidentally killed her when he lost control of his powers.

Ice Doll Kula Diamond Chapter Kula Diamond is a cybernetically modified human crafted by the syndicate NESTS to exterminate K'. Though the results of such modifications have their drawbacks as she looks and behaves like a child, the cryokinesis she acquired allows her to instantly turn water molecules in air into ice. After the destruction of NESTS, she teamed up with K' and his allies. However, all that came undone after a fight with K', with her then running away from the group. All alone, she is snatched up by Krohnen and Ángel where she is added to their team.

Cleansing Fire Kyo Kusanagi Chapter Kyo Kusanagi is the heir to the Kusanagi clan and successor of the Kusanagi Style of Ancient Martial Arts. The Kusanagi clan is one of three entrusted with a Sacred Treasure, and thus a cleansing flame resides within Kyo’s very own blood. Though his biggest rival is Iori Yagami, they are both left with little option but to put aside their differences and team up once again for this latest KOF to hopefully prevent Orochi from resurrecting.

Silent Soldier Leona Heidern Chapter Leona belongs to a mercenary corps. As the adopted daughter of Heidern, she has received military training from a young age. The Orochi blood flowing within her veins led to an awakening of power. Although taciturn and poor at expressing emotion, she has begun to show a softer side to both Ralf and Clark.

Enchanting Beauty Luong Chapter Luong is a femme fatale type fighter with mysterious motives. She can and will lacerate her enemies like a whip with her long legs and her arranged tae kwon do kicking techniques. This KOF, she's seemingly working in opposition to her lover Gang-il and his disciple Kim, but perhaps all is not how it seems...

Fascinating Kunoichi Mai Shiranui Chapter Mai is a kunoichi and successor of the Shiranui style of ninja arts. Her opponents are at the mercy of her graceful movements and fascinating attire. Using large fans as weapons, her fighting style is to "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee".

Human Weapon of Steel Maxima Chapter Maxima is a cyborg remodeled by NESTS. With 80% of his body comprised of machinery, he is equipped with weaponry everywhere. His fighting ability is far beyond that of any human. As a loyal intellectual full of heart, he also understands K' well.

Meitenkun Meitenkun Chapter With pillow in hand, this sleepy young fighter is a master of the hidden martial arts technique, Hyakkyokuminminken, or Eight Extremities Slumber Fist. The family he knows today is his mentor Tung Fu Rue and fellow disciple/best friend Shun’ei. He is considered by many to be Tung’s secret weapon, as the extent of his explosive power and technique is a mystery to all.

Now, due to Verse’s influence, he’s returned to the mortal realm to extract vengeance.

Destiny of Flames Orochi Chris Chapter Chris revealed his true form as one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Orochi. Chris joins forces with Yashiro and Shermie for the purpose of reviving Orochi. With a cruel smile and contempt for humans, Chris openly damns his opponents and burns them mercilessly with purple flames.

She is ruthless and brutal, a far cry from her usual frivolous demeanor. She possesses the power of lightning in her body and can shoot her opponents from a distance.

Parched Earth Orochi Yashiro Chapter Yashiro revealed his true form as one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Orochi. With the goal of reviving Orochi, he leads Shermie and Chris headfast into battle. Unlike his usual self, he actions and demeanor are much more cruel, and he fights boldly using the power of the earth and his fearsome monstrous strength.

One Man Army Ralf Jones Chapter Ralf is one of the mercenaries led by Heidern. His rank is colonel, and he incorporates a combination of Heidern-style assassination moves and martial arts into his unique fighting style. He is extremely caring and his subordinates trust him deeply. Oftentimes, Clark and Leona accompany him on missions.

Strongest Human Ramón Chapter Ramón is an influential luchador (Mexican pro-wrestler) who has been called the "strongest human alive". Though he always wears a bright smile, Ramón isn't afraid to tell people how it is. Although small for a fighter, he toys with his opponents by utilizing his agility and skillful throws. He joins G.A.W. where he fights alongside Antonov.

Mightiest Tiger Robert Garcia Chapter Robert is the assistant instructor at Ryo's dojo. Legitimate heir of the Garcia Foundation in Italy, Robert joined the Kyokugenryu dojo against the wishes of his father and quickly became Ryo's best friend and training partner. Robert excels at kick attacks with his long legs. Robert also has not-so-secret feelings for Ryo's sister, Yuri.

Fly-By-Night Wolf Rock Howard Chapter Though he’s the son of the fearsome Geese Howard, this young fighter with a complicated past was raised by Terry Bogard. A virtual prodigy when it comes to fighting, Rock has learned to utilize fighting styles passed down from both his father and stepfather. B. JENET convinces him to join Team GAROU this KOF.

Invincible Dragon Ryo Sakazaki Chapter Ryo is the son and entrusted owner of Takuma Sakazaki's dojos for the Kyokugenryu school of Karate. As a child, Ryo spent his time training his body, and eventually became so powerful that he was nicknamed The Invincible Dragon. Naturally, he is extremely strong-willed, and will spare no effort getting things done. Even to this day, he continues to train himself to his maximum potential.

Coquettish Shermie Chapter Charming but dangerous, Shermie is both a fashion designer and the lead keyboardist for the band C.Y.S. Her true nature is the same as Yashiro and Chris, as she herself is a member of the Four Heavenly Kings of Orochi. She incorporates her love for pro wrestling into her attacks, where she relies on her flexibility to toss her opponents around. Shermie is very amicable to those around her, and though she seems quite laid back, nobody really knows if this, too, is an act.

Straight as an Arrow Shingo Yabuki Chapter Shingo is a young man who became empassioned by Kyo Kusanagi's strength and all but forced him to become his martial arts master. For Kyo, however, he looks at Shingo as his passive assistant, and treats him as such. Recently, Shingo has been gaining Kyo's approval and seems to be making steady progress as a fighter, albeit little by little. His adoscelent approach to life gives him a personality liked by many.

Shun'ei Shun'ei Chapter Though young, Shun’ei is a master manipulator of illusions. However, all’s not fun and games as his parents disowned him the moment mysterious hands began to form around his body. Luckily, he fell under the wing of legendary martial arts master Tung Fu Rue, where he learned how to come to grips with his new-found powers. After the defeat of the strange being known as Verse, Shun’ei continued his training in an effort to better control his powers within. He enters the tournament with his friend Meitenkun to further push his abilities to the limit.

Shocking Beauty Sylvie Paula Paula Chapter One of the last remnants of NESTS, the beautiful young girl Sylvie was considered useless by the secret society until the day she demonstrated the extent of her electromagnetic powers. The previous KOF saw her make some new friends besides her beloved eyeball accessories, which seems to have given her a little confidence boost.

Legendary Hungry Wolf Terry Bogard Chapter After their adopted father and martial arts master Jeff Bogard was cruelly assassinated by crime lord Geese Howard, Terry and his brother Andy Bogard set off on a mission for revenge where they would travel the world learning various fighting styles. Terry’s bright personality and acts of kindness solidified him in the eyes of children on the streets as a sort of hero.

Crimson Agent Vanessa Chapter Vanessa lives a double life between being a housewife and a mercenary agent. She is highly skilled in boxing and is able to KO her opponents with ease. Her husband and kid don’t know anything about her secret activities.

Queen of the Battlefield Whip Chapter This fearsome soldier is enlisted in Heidern's mercenary unit operating under the codename Whip. She wields a seemingly paranormal whip, and is the spitting image of Seirah, the older sister of K'. However, after a quarrel with K', Kula Diamond runs off only to be captured by some mysterious person. Deeply worried, Whip enters this KOF to find out exactly who this man is and what they want with Kula.

Wicked Heretic Yamazaki Chapter Ryuji is a lone outlaw who made a name for himself as a broker in the underground. He is also one of Orochi's Eight Hakkesshu, but he lives only for his own gain. In this tournament, he seems to have been hired by the Howard Connection for a certain purpose, though as to what could be anyone’s guess.

Dauntless and Decisive Yashiro Nanakase Chapter Yashiro is the lead guitarist of the rock group C.Y.S. However, this is all a front as, for the past 660 years, he has underwent multiple reincarnations as a member of the Four Heavenly Kings of Orochi--which are the true enemies of the Three Sacred Treasures. He develops an interest in the mysterious powers wielded by the strange being known as Verse, and sets out with his friends Shermie and Chris to join KOF.
