 (4 / 10) Tiger Travesty

I don't know a whole heck of a lot about TYPE-MOON's games, but I did find some of the character design interesting, so finding out there were not one, but two fighting games based on their work for the PSP that hadn't made it to FAB yet, I thought they would be the perfect introduction to me.

Whilst awaiting the games' arrival in the post, I decided to preliminarily do some research on the characters and submit them here. I think it gave me a brain tumor. The backstories are so convoluted that it made my head spin. I had heard the original games were basically H-games, but this must be what qualifies as "porn with plot - and then some" because out of the several dozen sources I used to research the series, there were walls of text on elaborate backstories, tangled webs of personal relationships, arcane magical rituals, mythological and historical characters, and so forth... but rarely a word about coitus, and only then, only if it was a defining characteristic.

Plot seems to take a backseat in the Fate/tiger games, though. It's mostly about the action, and sadly, the action isn't any good. This has to be one of the saddest Power Stone-type games I've ever come across. Graphics are serviceable, but nothing to write home about. The rest just falls flat. Undoubtedly, this is amongst the worst fighting games that Capcom has ever had a hand in.
