Dante's Ending
...C'mon! You mean to tell me you've never played a video game before?
All the good ones get harder and more interesting as you progress. It's kind of a given in good game design.
You wanna make sure the player doesn't get bored before the end.
And what would I care for this nonsense?
Don't you get it, dude? I just beat the big boss in the game, but now...
A stronger opponent has appeared, correct? I will warn you, devil hunter, this is no game you are playing.
Ha-ha-ha! Are you kidding!? Life IS the ultimate game! You just don't get unlimited continues.
But me, I always beat my games on the first try, so you better show me everything you got, sizzle-head!

Dante's Ending
I can smell you standing there, you know. Whadya want?
If you so desired, I could return your mother to you, alive and well. I could even mend your relationship with your brother -- make your family whole again. All I would require is --
...Gyark!
I'm not really interested in mending fences with my brother, so here's my counteroffer:
You give me a job that can pay my electric bill for the year, and I'll let you leave here with your head attached to your body.
Actually, there is a fiend called Blackheart who has caused me trouble to no end...
Done. But I'm charging you triple for being such a tool.

Ghost Rider's Ending
Perhaps the merging of these two worlds does have its benefits after all...
Wouldn't you agree, Mephisto?
Either the contract gets torn up...
Or your throat does. Your choice, Big Red.

Dante Ending
I'd say that was a piece of cake, but you don't use a sword like mine to cut cake.
You know, I don't even think those were all demons. I'm not really sure what some of them were.
Doesn't matter. Swords and guns don't care, and neither do I. They're gone now. I'm still here.
So come on, then. Send the demons. But I'm warning you: if you thought it was tough fighting me before...
...it just got a whole lot tougher.

Dante Prologue
This city is lousy with demons. They're everywhere, if you know what to look for.
Not that I'm looking. If it were up to me, they'd stay in the underworld. But I guess no one asked me.
They don't ask, they just drag me down into Limbo for a little chat.
Me, I like to talk with my swords, and my guns.
And I kind of feel like talking now. Doesn't matter to me what they look like or where they're from.
I'm coming for the demons. And when I'm done, none of them will be left standing.
Dante Rival Battle
You'd think the demons would know better by now. They must be as dumb as they are ugly.
Okay, so they're not all ugly. And who sent you, sweetheart?
I've been sent by no one. I determine where I go... and whom I fight.
Bad choice this time. I guess we're all entitled to one, though.
The choice was made when I first picked up this weapon. Since then I need only move forward. Through you, if need be.
Oh, it needs be. But remember when the blade is at your throat, I gave you a chance to walk away!
