He respects Kunio and considers him a teacher deep in his heart. He detests ⌜villains⸥ probably due to family influence, and he will fight the villain no matter how strong he or she is once he sees one. Though he is simple-minded, his strength lies in his fiery passion. However, the lack of 2nd and 3rd year students in the Nekketsu team is probably due to his poor scouting skills.
