Pathetic. That was the only word Broly could think of to describe the Saiyans he just defeated. He felt ashamed to share the same race. They could not even begin to comprehend his legendary powers. Was there no one in the cosmos who could challenge him? He pondered this as he destroyed yet another planet without mercy.

Pre History
Broly was born with a power level of 10,000, on the same day as Kakarrot. Kakarrot was a fussy child, crying all the time. This crying disturbed the nearby baby Broly, and a deep-seeded hatred began to grow.
King Vegeta was afraid of the young Broly's immense power, and ordered the child and his father, Paragus, killed. Thrown out in the trash, Paragus and Broly survived the Saiyan planet's destruction due to Broly's power.
Broly grew up to become an astonishingly unbalanced young man. Paragus ended up using a mind control device to keep him from flying off the handle. One day, Paragus and Broly came to Earth, claiming that Prince Vegeta, son of the late king, was to take rule over a new Saiyan planet. This, however, was part of a grand revenge scheme.
Broly's mind control device began to short-circuit upon seeing Goku, who was known as Kakarrot back on the Planet Vegeta. He breaks free from his father's control, becoming the Legendary Super Saiyan that is fabled to appear once every 1,000 years, as well as savagely killing his own father.
It took the combined might of Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks, and Piccolo to defeat Broly, by knocking him into a comet. However, this would not be the end of Broly. He would crash on Earth, and be placed in a coma. Seven years later, Goku's second son Goten would cry, causing Broly to stir from his coma and enact his rage upon the Earth. Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Videl would fight against Broly, but it would only be through a combined Kamehameha from Gohan, Goten, and the spirit of a dead Goku, that Broly would meet his end.
