Pre History
Smile grew up in a military family, his father a decorated war hero. His powers manifested early on and began to warp his body by slowly hardening its cellular structure. Eventually, he will become a living statue and die early... but until that day, he has decided to never stop pursuing tomorrow.
At first, Smile thought himself to be following in his father's footsteps. But the entire time, he has actually been fighting for Virginia without realizing it, his pride letting him believe that there is still some humanity left within his hardened husk of a body.
