Pre History .hack//Versus Storyline Silvio was born into a good family. Being frail in nature, his powers manifested weakly at first but became stronger over time until he was reported by his siblings and isolated. He was appointed to Vermilion as a young commander based on his performance during a large operation that he had participated in along with Otto. Otto, despite his sudden success, had no interest in honor or political power, so he allowed Silvio to take credit for his accomplishments. Gradually, Silvio began to doubt his own self-worth as the shadow of uncertainty threatened to engulf him. He finally decides to leave Valhalla Float to pursue his rival and prove beyond any doubt that he has surpassed him.
