During an afternoon lull, Athena enjoys tea time with her favorite peter rabbit tea set.
As she pours her tea, it infuses the room with the tangy aroma of raspberry.
She brings the cup to her charming mouth, and the pink tea gives a redder tinge to he lips.
"Aaah...this is heaven. There's nothing like a cup of tea with Peter. With master, it always ends up being Chinese tea at tea time.
Glancing at the picture that adorns her desk, she winks humbly.
"Well, then, time to check my fan letters."
Her letters of admiration that arrive daily form an impressive pile on her desk.
"Let's see, this one's from a twenty-eight-year-old freelancer. 'You drive me wild, jumping beautifully with your hair streaming in the breeze...Marry me!"
"And the next one's from a 45-year-old businessman that says, 'Punish me with your Psycho Ball.' Hmm, that's creepy."
"Ah! This one has a drawing. Hmm... 'I'm dying to see a collection of your swimsuit pictures, please!' From Dream Boy, 15 years old?"
Athena sighs as she polishes off another four or five letters....
"Gosh, these peaceful days of relaxation really are tedious..."
From outside the door she hears the sound of footsteps coming up the stairs.
"Athena, you have another delivery."
"Thanks, Mom."
She gives her mother one of her best ingratiating grins while taking the letter.
"Yes! It's an invitation! I better get ready right away!"
As she pulls out her well-worn traveling shoes, Athena thinks:
(Having time off once in awhile is nice, but I'm more suited to a life of excitement.)
"There we are! I'm all set! I am so psyched for this!!!"
