Storyline
Background
Pre History
Majin Buu is an evil demon genie created by the wizard Bibidi. Originally appearing in what is commonly known as his "Kid Buu" form, Buu was untamed and unhindered evil. Bibidi unleashed Buu on the chief Gods (Kaioushin) homeworld, killing several of the deities, whilst absorbing others.

After absorbing the Dai Kaioushin, his demeanor changed. Now rotund and playful, though still malicious and destructive, Buu wanted to kill because it was "fun". The Eastern Kaioushin (aka "Supreme Kai") killed Bibidi and sealed Buu in a magical orb prison, sending it to a desolate planet.

Hundreds of years later, Bibidi's son Babidi located Buu's orb on a planet known as Earth; there, Buu was released. continuing his rampage. Eventually, Buu was convinced by Goku to turn against Babidi. Buu killed the wizard, and later ended up befriending Mr. Satan. Living together and adopting a puppy named Bee, Buu was happy and peaceful... until two hoodlums shot Satan and Bee. Although Buu was able to heal them, his anger got the best of him, and it manifested as aeperate entity, commonly known as "Evil Buu".

Buu fought his dark side, but was ultimately defeated by his own reflected food transformation attack. Evil Buu consumed him, turning into a large, muscular entity popularly dubbed "Super Buu".

Super Buu wasted no time killing the two gunmen that wounded his friends. However, although this Buu had no intention of harming Mr. Satan and Buu, he went to fight "strong guys" like Goku. Battling Gotenks in the sealed-off Room of Spirit & Time, he broke the dimensional barrier and escaped back into the world. Using a special technique, Super Buu killed nearly every being on Earth.

Super Buu took to absorbing some of the remaining warriors, including Piccolo, Gotenks, and Gohan, gaining their powers in increments. Eventually, it came time to do battle with newly resurrected Goku and the recently deceased Vegeta. Vegeta and Goku fused into the merged warrior Vegito. Vegito, after smacking Buu around a bit, allowed himself to be absorbed by Buu; something within Buu's body caused them to separate back into Goku and Vegeta. The two of them found their friends inside Buu's body, as well as the good Majin Buu, and escaped Buu's innards with them. Having lost the good Buu within him, Super Buu reverted to his original form, the feral Kid Buu.

Kid Buu destroyed the Earth. Goku, Vegeta, Dende, Mr. Satan, Bee, and good Buu made it safely to the Kaioushin planet. However, Kid Buu followed them. Goku, Vegeta, and good Buu took turns fighting Kid Buu - the latter two serving to buy time while Goku created the Chou Genki Dama (Super Spirit Bomb). Goku finally unleashed the attack, killing Kid Buu. While Kid Buu's body was being destroyed, Goku wished that Kid Buu would come back as a good person so they could fight again.

The warriors then used the Dragon Balls to wish that the people of the newly restored Earth would forget the cataclysmic actions of the now-good Buu. This Buu now lived with Mr. Satan.
Dragon Ball Z: Taiketsu
Taiketsu Endings
Buu's simple mind was filled with joy as he destroyed the planet Earth. He giggled with madness. However, suddenly a tinge of regret appeared in his mind. He would miss all the delicious pastries, chocolates, candies, and cakes he had tasted. What would he do now? Then he remembered the universe is full of sweets!
