Fun Facts
Muscle Buster
King's Muscle Buster throw (often coined as "t-bone powerbomb" or "wishbone backbreaker" or some variant thereof) is a homage to Kinnikuman's most famous and devastating wrestling technique, the Kinniku Buster.
Everyone Loves Kinnikuman
Armor King's new Muscle Driver air throw in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection is a copy of Kinnikuman's Kinniku Driver technique.
Ultra Muscle
Before the series evolved into a hyper-crazy wrestling manga, Kinnikuman initially was a rather on-the-nose Ultraman parody - from the fin-like structure on his head, to fighting kaiju and having a "Kinniku Beam" technique to emulate Ultraman's Spectrum Beam, and he even once claimed to be one of the Ultra Brothers.

The sequel series Kinnikuman Nisei would continue this tradition by naming Kinnikuman's son after Ultraman Taro - even highlighting the reason within the story.
