Storyline
Background
Pre History
Dr. Gero's ultimate creation, Cell is a bio-android with the power to absorb beings through his tail. By absorbing Android 17 and Android 18, he attains his "Perfect" form. Cell, as a trump, attempts to blow up the Earth by self-destructing, but Goku teleports him to King Kai's planetoid. Cell returns from his explosion, and continues to attack Earth's warriors. A distraught Gohan, with help from his dead father's spirit, finally finishes Cell with a Super Kamehameha.

The Ultimate Battle
Your name spells feat! You have reached perfection: You are the embodiment of evil and destruction! A perfect android created from GOKU'S DNA, you also contain cells from PICCOLO and VEGETA, making you even more powerful. Cells from ANDROIDS 17 and 18 complete this picture of perfection... You have the perfect fighting body! You can use the five energy balls and jets and your discretion, making it easy to prevent any attack. But you are just as powerful in close combat with your height, as you tower over most of your opponents.

2V, or not 2V
A special promotional edition of DragonBall Z Budokai 2 (DragonBall Z2 in Japan) called DragonBall Z2V was released via V-Jump magazine. Limited to 1000 copies via contest, it included a special version of the World Tournament stage with the V-Jump logo. In addition, Frieza's brother Cooler and his son Kuriza were added as alternate costumes to him, as well as the previously CPU-only skins of Majin Frieza and Majin Cell to those respective characters. The game also shipped with 100% completion already.
